The duration of a grooming session depends on the size, coat condition, and temperament of your pet, as well as the specific services requested. On average, most grooming appointments take between 1.5 to 3 hours. We work at a steady and gentle pace to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable throughout the process. Our priority is quality and care—not rushing—so we’ll always take the time needed to give your pet the best experience possible. You’ll be notified as soon as your pet is ready for pickup.
Yes, we specialize in grooming senior and anxious dogs. Our team is trained to provide gentle, patient care in a calm, one-on-one environment designed to reduce stress. We understand that older pets and those with anxiety require extra time, attention, and understanding—and we’re committed to making their grooming experience as comfortable and safe as possible.
Due to the additional care and handling involved, there is a $15 fee for senior dogs. This allows us to give them the time and special attention they deserve.
At Pets In Black Grooming, we value your time and our team’s. To keep things running smoothly, we kindly ask that cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance.
